Question: Is it permissible to wear clothes with different logos on them? For example a logo with an alligator?
Answer: If one happens to purchase clothing which has animate logos printed on them, it will only be permissible if the animate logo falls under one of the categories below:
1) The logo is just an outline of the animal.
2) The logo has no facial features; it is effaced.
3) The logo is really small that by standing up and looking down at it whilst it is on the floor one cannot clearly discern the limbs.
If the animate logo is discernible or has clear facial features or is of considerable size, it will be makrūh tahrīmī (severely disliked) to wear such clothing.
